Tulip Festival

We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Saturday and went up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. It was prime tulip time and a gorgeous day so we weren't the only ones who had this idea. Luckily we got an early start and beat the crowds. On our way back around 12:30 the cars were lined up for 2 miles on the freeway just to get off the exit. I'm so glad we decided to go early! Good call on our part.

Although it was beautiful, Aidan wasn't feeling good and so was not in a good mood and was very clingy. We got a few pictures and then decided to head out since he was really not himself. He ended up having a fever that lasted the whole weekend and then went away. We are sure glad to have our normal Aidan back!
This is how we ended up. Aidan wanted to be held so David put him in the Ergo. I held Oliver who at the same moment was crying. A lady asked us if we wanted her to take our picture and we thought "sure, lets capture what our lives our really like." I wish there was sound to this picture because it would seem a little more intense.

The tulips were stunning. We were glad to be able to go again this year!

Easter

The beautiful spring weather helped make this Easter wonderful. It was fun this year to dye eggs with Aidan, have an easter egg hunt and celebrate Easter with two delicious meals with our families. After church in the morning we had a lovely lunch with my mom, came home for nap time and then went and had dinner at Daniel & Laura's house.

Big Brother

Aidan is an awesome big brother. My heart melts every time I see him interacting with Oliver. It just gives me an idea of how fun it will be as they get older. Love my sweet boys!
