40 Weeks!

Well we made it to 40 weeks! Today is baby Reggie's due date and so far he has yet to make his appearance. We are ready and anxious to meet him so anytime would be fine with us!

We thought he was coming a week and a half ago when I had 24hrs of contractions that at the end were consistently 3 min apart. After 2 visits to the hospital we decided to come home and get some sleep and the contractions stopped. I am 5-6cm dilated and just waiting for stronger contractions. Each day I feel contractions, sometimes for 12 hour periods and other times just random intervals. I am so ready to have this be the real deal and to finally get to meet our little baby.

Happy Valentine's day! I feel so lucky to have wonderful people in my life to love and who love me. Here are some new pictures of our family of 3 just after Aidan turned two. It is very special for me to see these pictures because it captures where we are right now as our lives are about to change in a big way. We are anxious to meet our new little baby any day now and can't wait to have another guy to love.

Sunshine!

I love beautiful, sunny, winter days. We had a great time enjoying the sunshine yesterday. In the morning we went to visit a fire station open house (thanks to Meg for the idea) and then spent some time at the park. I think for the first time we wore Aidan out since he would just randomly sit down in the grass. He took a long nap and then we went to little David's house to celebrate his 2nd birthday. Aidan has become a big fan of birthdays now that he knows that birthdays = cake and presents.
